CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH APPLICATIONS ARE VALID:

Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have already graduated:

1) Foreign nationals, on the condition that they have not studied at or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye (except for foreign nationals who have comleted their entire high school education at Embassy Schools or international private educational institutions listed in the MOBİS system, as well as foreign nationals who have come to Türkiye within the framework of projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education or the Council of Higher Education).

2) Persons who were Turkish citizens by birth but subsequently lost Turkish citizenship after obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce it, and those who can document that they hold a Blue Card issued upon request to former Turkish citizens (provided that they have not studied at or graduated from secondary education institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC). (Applications applying under international student quotas are advised to review Article 7 of Law No. 5901 on Turkish Citizenship).

3) Persons who were originally foreign nationals and later acquired Turkish citizenship, as well as dual citizens in this situation (provided that they have not studied at or graduated from secondary education institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC).

4) Turkish citizens who have completed all of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the TRNC (including those who completed all o their secondary education at Turiksh schools established abroad under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education).

5)Citizens of the TRNC who have not studied at or graduated from high school in Türkiye or from high school in the TRNC that implement the Turkish curriculum, and who possess GCE A-Level qualifications, TR-YÖS results, or other criteria specified in the application and admission regulations approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) for higher education institutions.

THE APPLICATIONS OF THE ABOVE -MENTIONED CANDIDATES SHALL BE ACCEPTED.

CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH APPLICATIONS ARE NOT VALID:

1) Turkish citizens who have completed all of their secondary education (high school) in Türkiye or in the TRNC,

2) TRNC citizens, or dual nationals one of whose nationalities is TRNC citizenship, who have studied at or graduated from high school in Türkiye or from high schools in the TRNC that implement the Turkish curriculum,

3) Dual nationald whose first nationality at birth was Turkish citizenship, as defined under article 7 of Law No.5901 on Tukish Citizenship (except for those who satisfy the conditions specified in Item 4 of section (a)),

4)Turkish citizens, or dual nationals whose first nationalty at birth was Turkish citizenship as defined under Article 7 of Law No.5901 on Turkish Citizenship, who have studied at schools operating under embassies in Türkiye or at foreign high school located in Türkiye,

5) a) TRNC citizens and former Turkish citizens holding Blue Cards who have studied at or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC,

    b) Foreign nationals who have studied at or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye (except for foreign nationals who have completed their entire high school education at Embassy Schools or international private educational institutions listed in the MOBİS system, as well as foreign nationals who have come to Türkiye within the framework of projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education or the Council of Higher Education).

THE APPLICATIONS OF THE FOLLOWING CANDIDATES SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
